Fire so many bullets that have never been fired in the history of the state and the hero of the film says this and in the next 3 hours it becomes true.
Rajkumar Rao’s film Malik has been released, which some people are mistakenly considering as a remake of Fahadh Fazil’s Malayalam film.
But actually, both films have no relation with each other. This film is loosely inspired by the real gang war of Allahabad in which this face was also involved.
You must know him well. If a film is made on them then there will definitely be a scandal. It’s a 150-minute film and at least 150 bullets must have been fired.
This is a bloody movie which need not be watched with family. But I will tell you further alone.
Is Malik Worth Watching?
The story is about the game of Snake and even if you reach the very end, there is still a risk.
If that snake worth 99 bites then the game will reach zero. There is no snake in this movie, but there is a famous police officer who has become famous only because Sir Ji has done 98 encounters and is ready to bite on the 99th.
Now he has been specially invited to complete the century. He has to hunt — and that too the master whose name itself is more powerful than him.
Is Maalik a Good Movie?
It is a story of my childhood that the biggest goon of the city, whom everybody feared, was tied in the middle of the city, decorated with Diwali lights and then burnt while Lord Shiva’s Damru was being played in the background.
Malik was born from this noise, whose only dream in life is to become a family man, have red light on the head and small child with her beautiful wife.
But since it is an underworld jungle, there will be lots of animals. Even if the lion is the king,
if all the animals come together, will the king alone be able to save his throne?
Malik is a story of bloodshed, revenge, humiliation, ego, pride, sin, virtue, and deceit — and in which it will not be understood whether the hero of the film should be called a hero or a villain.
Malik Movie Review in English: What’s New or Different?
Now you will say what is different in this? This seems like the story of every other gangster movie. The ending of the film is different which points towards Malik Part 2.
But, friends, it will be very difficult to sit still because, once this movie starts, it never seems to end; it keeps dragging like a rubber.
Interestingly, there are a lot of similarities between Pushpa’s rule and Malik’s rule. The stories of both seem like twins of each other.
There too the police intervened and here too the police have put their foot down. There was a wild girl there too. There are wild animals here too and there was Shrivalli, whereas here Miss World is a human being only.
But the difference is in the way the film is made. For one person, 3 hours seem like 2 hours, and for the other person, 2 hours feel longer than 3 hours.
It was good that Huma Qureshi made a comeback, but what was the need to put a break on the story of the film by adding an item song?
Politics and violence were going on. Just let it go. Plus, an actor like Fahadh Fazil was not used properly in Pushpa. Similarly, an amazing Bengali actor was heated up and then left cold.
Malik Movie Collection: Was It Worth the Buzz?
From watching various movies, the boss will seem more like a boss when he fights with a boss of equal status. What is this? The movie ended by just killing the servants indiscriminately. Well yes, there is a dangerous scene in the film in which I was scared after seeing Rajkumar Rao.
This is a disturbing scene. It is emotional too and those with weak hearts will close their eyes.
But the best thing about this film is the selection of actors.
From Isa Bhai who plays secret games to the judge who plays Jolly-Jolly and the magician who helps 12th fail students pass, you will find it all here.
But if only the good actors were used properly, then this film could have become the master of Bollywood — not just by name but by content.
Final Verdict: Should You Watch Malik?
Frankly, there is not much scope left in these gangster films. Everyone knows how it will end — the biggest goon, the goon in uniform. Same formula for this film too.
So, from my experience, this movie will get only two and a half stars out of five. Rajkumar Rao’s powerful screen presence, excellent selection of supporting actors, and the music which was playing beautifully in the theatre.
In the negative: predictable story, childish treatment of villain characters, and yes — this biology of chemistry in the family angle did not work. On the contrary, it made the movie longer.
On one side Superman, on the other side Malik — if you ask me then watching Fahadh Fazil’s Malik at home would be the best option.
So, that’s it for today where I have covered Rajkumar Rao Malik Movie, and I hope you find this review helpful. Now it’s your turn to let me know your experience about the Malik Review.
